Tarceva Medication Information

One of the medications used to treat cancer is Tarceva® (erlotinib). Specifically, this product is designed for the treatment of late-stage pancreatic cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. It comes in tablet form and is usually taken once a day.

When prescribing Tarceva, your healthcare provider needs information on your complete medical history. This includes any other medical conditions you have, such as liver or kidney disease, and any other medicines you are taking, including nonprescription products and herbal supplements. This will help your healthcare provider formulate the best treatment plan for you.
