If you have pancreatic cancer or non-small cell lung cancer, your healthcare provider may prescribe Tarceva® (erlotinib) to help slow down the progression of your disease. This medicine comes as a tablet that is taken once daily on an empty stomach. The tablets are available in the following strengths:
Tarceva 25 mg
Tarceva 100 mg
Tarceva 150 mg.
You may not be able to take this drug if you have certain allergies or if you are taking certain medications, vitamins, or supplements. Nausea, fatigue, and diarrhea are among the possible side effects.
