Can You Use a Nicotine Patch and Lozenge Together?

You should not use a nicotine lozenge (Nicorette® Lozenge) and a nicotine patch (Nicoderm® CQ®) together, as it can increase your risk for a nicotine overdose. This could cause symptoms such as:
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Dizziness
  • Weakness
  • A rapid heartbeat.
It is also important to not smoke, chew tobacco, use snuff, or use any other nicotine-containing product while using the nicotine lozenge. Also, do not use nicotine lozenges with any other nicotine replacement medications, including nicotine patches or nicotine gum (Nicorette® Gum), unless your healthcare provider tells you otherwise.
