For people who are finding it difficult to quit smoking with Nicorette Gum (nicotine gum), there are other alternatives available. Some of these options include other nicotine replacement medications, certain prescription medications, and treatment methods that don't involve medication. It can be quite difficult to quit smoking, and many people may need to try several options to find the one that works best for them.

An Overview of Nicorette Gum Alternatives

Nicorette® Gum (nicotine gum) is an over-the-counter (OTC) nicotine replacement therapy that helps people stop smoking (this is known as smoking cessation). It reduces nicotine withdrawal symptoms, such as nicotine cravings, by releasing a controlled amount of nicotine into the body.
 
Quitting smoking is extremely difficult. Many people may need to try several times before they are able to quit for good, and very few people can just quit "cold turkey."
