Navelbine Chemo

If you have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer, you may receive chemotherapy treatment with Navelbine® (vinorelbine). Specifically, this drug is approved for the first-line treatment of unresectable advanced non-small cell lung cancer in adults. Unresectable lung cancer is cancer that cannot be removed completely with surgery. First-line treatment is treatment that is used initially, before other treatments have been tried.

Navelbine works by preventing cells from forming correctly, which interferes with how the cells grow and multiply. This eventually causes the cells to die.
