Tarceva® (erlotinib) is a prescription drug used to treat cancer. Specifically, it is approved for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer and, when used in combination with gemcitabine, pancreatic cancer. The medication comes in tablet form and is taken once a day. Most people using this type of cancer treatment will experience side effects; commonly reported ones include a rash, diarrhea, and nausea.
