Lung Cancer Home > Lung Cancer Treatments

Although a diagnosis of lung cancer can certainly be devastating and brings up a flood of emotions and questions, it's important to keep in mind that treatments are available. The standard options include:

What your healthcare team recommends will depend on the type of lung cancer you have, its stage, the size of the tumor, and other things. Don't be afraid to seek out the help of any healthcare providers you trust, and don't be afraid to get a second opinion.

While undergoing your treatments for lung cancer, it's important to eat well as much as possible and to be aware of possible side effects so that you can be prepared for them should they occur. In addition, once your disease is in remission, follow-up care is extremely important so that any changes in your health are detected early.
