Hycamtin Medication Information

Available only by prescription, Hycamtin® (topotecan) is a drug used to treat various types of cancer. In particular, the oral form of this product (capsule form) is approved for treating lung cancer, while the injectable form of Hycamtin is used to treat lung, ovarian, and cervical cancer.
 
Hycamtin is typically used once daily for three to five days, every 21 days (for a certain number of cycles). Possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, and anemia.
