Were you looking for information about Asbestos? Asbestose is a common misspelling of asbestos.

Asbestos is a term used to describe a group of minerals that naturally occur as bundles of fibers (which can be separated into thin threads). Four types of these fibers have been used commercially in the building and construction industry, shipbuilding industry, and automotive industry. Asbestos fiber masses, which tend to break easily into a dust, can be easily inhaled or swallowed and can cause serious health problems, such as lung cancer.
