Asbestas

Were you looking for information about Asbestos? Asbestas is a common misspelling of asbestos.

Asbestos is the name given to a group of fibrous minerals that occur naturally in the environment. These fibers break easily into a dust composed of tiny particles that can float in the air and stick to clothes. They can be easily inhaled or swallowed and can cause serious health problems, such as lung cancer, mesothelioma, or asbestosis. People who become ill from asbestos are usually those who are exposed to it on a regular basis.
